TERESITA BARBARA "TERE" ALFONSO ~ Class of 1967 Honorary
November 21, 1948 - January 25, 2022

Tere Alfonso

Tere B. Alfonso on January 25, 2022 went the last of her travels directly to Heaven. Tere had a deep appreciation for her Catholic faith. She walked by faith, prayed daily and always gave the glory to God.

She attended Christ the King Catholic School in the eighth grade and Chief Jo Junior High School in the ninth grade with the Class of 1967.

Tere was preceded in death by her parents, Roberto and Florinda Alfonso; and her brother, Robert Alfonso.

She is survived by her sister, Carmen Wright; her nephew, Christopher Mullens; her great nephew, Matthew Mullens; and her many other nephews, nieces and great nephews. She is survived as well by her close friends whom she thought of as family including Jose and Gisela Ramos, Barbara Guerra and Melissa Gavin and many others.

It is always difficult to give adequate justice to the entirety of a person’s life in a few paragraphs, but those who met Tere always knew that that they had been touched by an extraordinary woman of kindness, vigor and exuberance. Through her loving and generous heart, she made a lasting impact on all that she encountered during her life. She will be greatly missed by family and her friends.
