RICHARD GAYLE "RICK" ALLEN ~ Class of 1967
July 24, 1947 - September 12, 2021



Richard Gayle "Rick" Allen was born July 24, 1947 in Prairie City, OR to Bufford Martin and Velma Marion Allen. He passed away on September 12, 2021 at his home.

Rick graduated with the Class of 1967 from Richland's Columbia High School.

He then served two tours with the U. S. Army as a sniper in Vietnam.

Rick was a retired millwright.

A man who touched more lives than he could have ever imagined, passed peacefully in his sleep and now joins many beloved family and friends who have gone before him in heaven!

Richard accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior three years ago and spent much of his time listening to Christian music, reading his Bible, and attending services, Bible studies and watching podcasts from his home church Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities. Aside from his newfound love of Jesus he loved his family most of all, especially his grandchildren and most recently becoming a great-grandpa! He will be greatly missed, but we are thankful it is only for a time before we get eternity together again!

Life Tributes Cremation Center in Kennewick was in charge of the arrangements.

His mother passed away on April 26, 1967.

His father passed away on December 4, 1997.

His son, Marcus Wiggins, passed away February 2, 2021.
