Steven Lawrence "Steve" DeMeyer ^Sr. was born August 20, 1949, and passed away on November 21, 2024.

Steve attended Christ the King School, Carmichael Junior High School and graduated with the Class of 1967 from Richland's Columbia High School.

He served in the U. S. Army.

Steve married Deborah Ann Wheeler on January 26, 1974.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Judy DeMeyer Greuter ('58); and his brother, Jeff DeMeyer ('62).

Steve's two other siblings are Mary Lou DeMeyer Gnoza ('59) and Kathy DeMeyer Hodges ('71).

I have been happily married for 33 years. After high school, I served in the Army and then returned to Richland where I became a Millwright at Hanford. On August 8, 2008, I will have worked at Hanford for 31 years. My favorite pastime is to build and ride bikes. A major focus of my attention is being an ASA Softball Umpire. Working as an umpire has taken me all over the United States. I have lived in Richland since returning from the service.

Compassionate Cremation Society is in charge of the arrangements.
