Linda "Carol" Denny was born to Laura Jean and George Levi Denny on November 8, 1948 in Richland. She was raised in a good Christian home and attended Sunday school and church every Sunday.

She attended Lewis and Clark Elementary School, Carmichael Junior High School and graduated with the Class of 1967 from Richland's Columbia High School.

Carol married her high school sweetheart, Robert Guinn ('65), on December 30, 1967. The couple moved to Glenwood, WA 44 years ago.

Carol was a devoted wife and mother and was very active in her community. For 24 years she was a member of the Glenwood Fire Department where she served as an EMT, firefighter, an EMS evaluator, a CPR instructor, and EMS training coordinator. Carol served as secretary for the P.T.A., the Glenwood Fire Department and the Mt. Adams Community Church. While attending the church in Glenwood, she was the Sunday School Superintendent for six years and Sunday school teacher for 18 years. She was president and secretary for the Glenwood Women's Club. Carol attended Community Grace Brethren Church in Goldendale, WA for the past 11 years where she sang in the choir, led the over 50's group and was on the missions committee. She loved horseback riding, fishing, camping hiking, crocheting and motorcycle riding.

She passed away at her home in Glenwood, WA on April 13, 2012 at the age of 63.

Carol is survived by her husband, Robert Guinn ('65); daughter, Lori Guinn of Glenwood; son, Keith Guinn of Riverton, WY; sisters: Janet Denny Spencer ('55) of Richland and Sharon Denny Neilsen ('63) of Auburn, WA; and brother, Robert "Bob" Denny ('69) of Vancouver, WA.

Visitation was April 20, 2012 at Columbia Hills Memorial Chapel in Goldendale. A funeral service was held at Community Grace Brethren Church in Goldendale on April 21, 2012 with interment at Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood, WA. A reception followed at the Glenwood School. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan's Purse or Community Grace Brethren Church Missionary Fund. Columbia Hills Memorial Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.

NOTE: Her father passed away on April 6, 2008, and her mother passed away on January 9, 2012.
