Bob Graham -

Robert Lee "Bob" Graham, 70, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Kadlec Hospital in Richland.

He was born on February 23, 1948 in Pasco to Cecil C. and Dorothy Graham and remained in the Tri-Cities area during his life.

Bob attended schools in Richland. He was a "Bomber" with the class of '67 and graduated with the class of '68 at Richland's Columbia High School.

He served with distinction in the U.S. Navy as a corpsman in the Vietnam conflict. Returning home, he eventually worked for 35 years in the nuclear industry for Areva Inc.

During his life he enjoyed fishing, duck and deer hunting, camping with his family and a variety of hobbies.

The Bob Graham family settled on a little piece of acreage in rural Finley with animals, chickens, a little farming and numerous projects.

Bob was a detailed planner and enjoyed designing and building. His key hobby was beekeeping, constructing his custom hives and harvesting honey.

Bob's activities and life were shared by his loving wife of 37 years, Cathy (formerly Peterson); his son, Jeremy; and his daughter, Michelle. Bob lived the best of a simple life on his land with his family and dogs.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Graham, on December 4, 2000; and his brother, Dale Graham ('58).

He is survived by his wife and children; and his sisters, Shirley Ann Sturdivant ('53) and Kathleen Graham ('60).

Arrangements and services were through Mueller's Tri-Cites Funeral Home.
