KEITH ALLEN HARRIS ~ Class of 1967 Honorary
October 20, 1947 - June 8, 2005



Keith Allen Harris, age 57, passed away June 8, 2005 at the VA Hospital in Spokane of heart complications. Keith was born October 20, 1947 in Spokane to Edward and Edith Harris.

The family resided in Richland where Keith attended Jason Lee Elementary School with the classes of 1965 and 1966, Chief Jo Junior High School with the Class of 1966 and was an honorary member of the Class of 1967 at Richland's Columbia High School.

Keith served his country in the U. S. Army and graduated from Eastern Washington University. He worked various jobs including commercial fishing in Alaska, Kaiser Aluminum in Spokane and various labor union jobs across the Northwest. He was an avid outdoors man and enjoyed writing and sharing his poetry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Edith Harris; and sister, Edith "Edie" Harris Tadlock ('67).

Keith is survived by his son, Kenneth; brothers, Ed Harris ('65) and Vernon Harris; sister, Marian Harris Schultz ('69); and their families.

A memorial service will be held in Spokane at a later date.
