Steve C. Herald (a former Tri-Cities resident) of Elma, WA died at the age of 34 on Monday, July 4, 1983, at Hanks Lake in Mason County, WA.

He was born December 12, 1948, in Stillwater, Oklahoma and worked in quality control in construction.

Survivors include sons, Scott Herald and Jason Lowe; mother, Elaine Herald; sister, Lori Herald ('78); brother, Craig Herald; grandfather, Edward Kudej; and grandmother, Flossie Herald.

His father, Robert Herald, died in 1975.

Memorial services were held Friday, July 8, 1983, at Einan's Funeral Home.
