Brice Edwin Klucas was born to Bessie and Alton Klucas on July 9, 1949 in Richland where he was raised.

He passed away at home in Vancouver, WA, on Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at the age of 52.

Brice attended Marcus Whitman Grade School, Carmichael Junior High School and graduated with the Class of 1967 from Richland's Columbia High School.

Brice moved to Vancouver in 1978. He retired from the Sheet Metal Workers Local 16 in April of 2001, where he had worked since the early 80's.

He was a generous, caring and private person. Brice had a passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed golf, cribbage, fly fishing and camping.

Brice is survived by his wife, Sheila Klucas; step-children, Christina and David Fleming of Vancouver; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Steve Powers; three grandsons: Spencer, Chandler and Mason of West Richland; sister and brother-in-law, Arlas Klucas Nemnich ('63) and John; nephews, Tim and Ben; brother and sister-in-law, Craig ('69) and Mireyra Klucas; nephews: Anthony, Michael and Richard; niece, Emma; uncle and aunt, Richard and Eunice Chase of Vancouver; and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Bessie Klucas.

A graveside service was held at 2:30PM on Friday, June 14, 2002, at Park Hill Cemetery in Vancouver, WA.

Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home in Vancouver was in charge of arrangements.


NOTE:

Brice was divorced from Brenda Strunk Klucas ('67) who passed away in 1994.

His brother, Craig ('69), passed away July 14, 2021.
