Linda L. Saxton, 52, of Manteca died Sunday, April 15, 2001, at Doctors Hospital in Manteca, CA. She was born to Mary Elizabeth Peterson Maxfield and Harold Leslie Maxfield in Richland on December 7, 1948.

Mrs. Saxton was a native of Richland where she attended Sacajawea Elementary School, Chief Jo Junior High School and graduated with the Class of 1967 from Richland's Columbia High School.

She lived in Manteca, CA two years and was a teacher. Linda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Linda is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Saxton of Manteca; children: William "Garrett" Saxton, Jacob Lee Saxton, Megan Elizabeth Gray and Scott Maxfield Saxton all of Manteca; step-mother, Irene Maxfield of Richland; brothers: Thomas Maxfield ('58) of Boulder, CO and Phillip Maxfield ('62) of Lakewood, WA; half-brother, Mark Maxfield ('75) of Richland; step-brothers: Dennis Dall ('57) of Sparks, NV; Richard Dall ('61) of Vancouver, WA and Ken Dall ('64) of Dallas, TX; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Leslie Maxfield, who passed away on January 11, 1991; and by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Peterson Maxfield, who passed away July 12, 1952.

A funeral was held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial was at the Park View Cemetery.
