Pastor Blaine Pritchett, age 74, passed away in Elkhorn, NE on April 23, 2023. He was born October 27, 1948, in Moscow, ID.

Blaine attended schools in Richland including Carmichael Junior High School, graduating with the Class of 1967 from Richland's Columbia High School.

Blaine was a Man of God, husband, father, grandfather, brother and a friend to many others. He did whatever it took to make others feel welcomed and loved. Blaine felt that his calling was ministering to small churches. This calling led him and his family to many locations around the country. He ministered in churches in Wyoming, South Dakota, Washington, Arizona, Colorado, Iowa and Nebraska.

He met his beautiful wife, Dale Wagenaar Pritchett ('69), in high school. She also happened to be the sister of his best friend, Dan Wagenaar ('67). They later married in Richland on August 7, 1971. They remained happily married until his passing.

He was so loved by many and will truly be missed by all that knew him.

Blaine is survived by wife, Dale Pritchett ('69); sons, Daniel Pritchett and Aaron (Tara) Pritchett; daughter, Larissa (Jeremy) Travis; grandchildren: Skyler, Brody, Carter, Drake, Gage and Grady; brothers, Chris ('84) (Heather) Lee and Cory ('88) (Amanda) Lee; sisters, Nancy Pritchett Stajduhar ('68) and Molly Pritchett ('89) (Brian) Parkhurst; his nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob Pritchett and Susie Garrison Pritchett ('58); and Evelyn Lee, who passed away on February 23, 2006, and Tom Lee; and his daughter, Mary Katherine Pritchett who died at birth on July 26, 1972.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023, from 3:00-4:00 pm at The Campus; 920 S. Mayne Street; Valley, NE 68064. An Open House will follow from 4:00-6:00pm. Flowers and memorials can be sent to Reichmuth Funeral Home; 21901 West Maple Road; Elkhorn, NE 68022.
