Alton L. "Al" Spencer, 42, died at his residence on Wednesday, November 28, 1990.

A native of Conway, AR he was born October 1, 1948, and had been a resident of Sparks, NV for the past 15 years, coming from Washington.

He attended Jason Lee Elementary School and Sacajawea Elementary School with the Class of 1966. He then attended Carmichael Junior High School and was a member of the Class of 1967 at Richland's Columbia High School before leaving to attend military school.

Spencer was a pipefitter and crew worker at Westpac Utilities for the past 11 years and a Vietnam War Army veteran.

Surviving are his widow: Sheila; stepsons, David and Damon O'Connell; and stepdaughter, Megan Aguayo all of Sparks, NV; son, Seth of Springville, CA; parents, Fred and Dee Spencer of Grandbury, TX; brother, Allan Spencer ('65) of WA; sister, Sandra Hastie of Elk Grove, CA; grandparents of Port Angeles, WA; Uncle John and Aunt Beverly Spencer; Uncle Bill and Aunt Norma Spencer; and cousins: Bonnie Spencer Brown ('67), Bill Spencer Jr DC ('69 honorary), Craig Spencer and Shawn Spencer.

His funeral was held at 11am on Monday, December 3, 1990, at Walton's Sparks Funeral Home with burial at Mountain View Cemetery.
