Sheri wrote this "bio" for the 40-year Class Reunion in 2007:

"I have three wonderful daughters: Tracy, Tammy and Tarah, who are all married to great guys. They all live nearby, and we get together often.

I was married for 26 years to Jerry Pollard ('65) . We are divorced but remain good friends. Presently, I have reunited with an old friend from the Seattle area, and we are living the good life!

I got married to Jerry and moved to Seattle in my junior year of high school and finished high school in Seattle. After 12 years of motherhood, I went to college and earned my Nursing Degree.

I love gardening and am hoping to take a master gardening course soon. I am considered a very good cook and like to entertain often. Reading is most rewarding, and I love to craft, camp and travel.

I worked in the nursing field for 25 years ending up in Occupational Medicine, where I also did marketing and training for a large corporation.

I was born in Richland. My parents are deceased, but I still have family there, so I have visited many times. I lived in Seattle for seven years then moved and bought a small farm in Stanwood, WA; where the girls grew up with cows, pigs, chickens and ducks. It was lots of hard work, but it still brings back fond memories. In 1982, we moved to Edmond, Oklahoma (the construction business was booming). I got my first nursing job at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.

I've traveled to most all of the states in the U. S., including Alaska and Hawaii. I've also been to Mexico and Canada. My sister and I recently spent a couple of weeks in Vermont and Maine at a wonderful B&B.

I was able to retire this year. I'm going on about six months; this is pretty cool. I am living my dream with a wonderful man, Keith. We just bought a nice home that we are landscaping. He built me a wonderful large garden house where the grandkids and I love to play!

Richland was a wonderful place to grow up!! After working and meeting so many people during my career, I've realized more and more what a wonderful education we all received and how privileged we all were to have lived there.

May you all have joy and peace!!"

NOTE; Her brother, Mel ('49), passed away on July 16, 2023.
