Louie Yesberger -

Louis Gerald "Louie" Yesberger, son of Margie E. and Gerald R. Yesberger of Richland, was born in Denver, Colorado on January 24, 1949. Louie passed away August 30, 2017.

He grew up in Richland graduating from Richland's Columbia High School in 1967. Louie attended Washington State University and the University of Washington.

Stories of his travels and adventures are legends in his family. He was a journeyman electrician at the Hanford Nuclear Reactor, Swedish Hospital and the University of Washington Hospital in Seattle.

Louie married Connie Leyson ('69) in 1975, and after settling in Snohomish County in 1981, he built the log home that he raised his family in. He was a man of many passions throughout his life and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Connie; son, Evan and his wife Jordan Yesberger; son, Eric Yesberger; mother, Margie E. Yesberger; brothers: John Yesberger ('70) and Tom ('71) Yesberger; and his beloved sister, Nancy Yesberger McAllister ('74) and her husband, Mark McAllister ('74).

A memorial service was held on September 23, 2017, at 1:00PM at The Grand Willow Inn, 17926 Dunbar Road, Mount Vernon, WA 98273. Arrangements were under the care of Kern Funeral Home of Mount Vernon.
